K9 BlueLite® and K9 Restart™ Help Eliminate the Impact of Heat Stress
I have a 3 ½ year old Labrador Retriever named Abby with whom I upland hunt in the fall and during the spring. In the summer and early fall we participate in NAHRA (North American Hunting Retriever Association) Hunt trials in the Midwest. At many of these trials, especially in the summer, the weather can be warm and humid causing stress and dehydration for the dogs. To combat this, we use K9 Performance Tabs in the water and K9 Restart in the water as well as on the food.
I have shared this with other participants when our dogs would not eat or drink because of heat stress and saw the dogs immediately rehydrate by drinking and eating food at the end of the day when they would not otherwise. I have also seen them perform consistently with more energy in stress conditions weather at a Hunt Test or in the field during early fall hunting.
My Labrador Retriever has reached the MHR (Master Hunter Retriever) level in NAHRA and just participated in the Richard A. Wolters Invitational within NAHRA for dogs at the MHR level or above and qualified (passed). The K9 product line is and will be a regular part of our daily intake to maintain Abby's performance and help eliminate stress conditions to avoid long lasting negative health effects.

K9 BlueLite Improves the Hunting Experience
I am an avid hunter that spends in excess of 50 days per year in the field engaged in some type of hunting activity. My passion is pheasant hunting. It combines being outdoors engaged in an aerobic activity, being with friends and working with my dog. The effort that I exert while hunting is multiplied many times over by my dog Maggie. I supply Maggie with K9 BlueLite prior to and during a hunt. I have found that it improves her performance and allows her to be engaged all day and the next day.

K9 BlueLite and K9 Restart: Daily and In Competition

My best friend and competition partner Sweep, a four and a half year young female Border Collie, who is also a veteran high altitude Sierra Nevada backpack companion, has been using TechMix products for close to 3 years now. Notably, we supplement her daily meal with K9 BlueLite. K9 Restart is also used when competing at national levels in both canine agility (USDAA discipline) and flyball to a high level of success. I use this product strategically to give Sweep a balance of needed electrolyte/carb/protein during high energy expenditure in competition, thereby maintaining her output throughout, whereas others will slow through fatigue.
While travelling at high altitude continually above 10 thru 12,000 ft and above, I use K9 BlueLite twice daily with K9 K9 Restart as needed in small amounts during travel. Sweep has crossed the Sierra Nevadas several times in my company and completed many journeys of longer than 3 or 4 weeks at one time.

K9 RESTART FOR ENDURANCE AND MUSCLE RECOVERY
As I prepared for a week-long trip to South Dakota this October, I wanted to get something to help my dog Rosie recover from the days hunt and provide some energy for the next day. I emailed gundogdoc for a suggestion and he has been using a product called K9 Restart. I called the company and they were very helpful and informative. I ordered a few smaller bags to get me through my trip.
Now I'm a real believer! I used the K9 Restart Energy Bars before each hunt and the powder that includes maltodextrin after each hunt in her food. I also carried one water bottle with the powder mixed in her water. Rosie had good energy through our fourth and last day of hunting. She recovered after the hunt very quickly. Last year she slept for two days straight with little activity, this year she was almost normal the next day.
Not only did the product work but the people at the company were extremely helpful and informative. They also have other products for working dogs that I will try next year.
